Arrive in Kisumu from Nairobi by flight or road. You’ll be met by our tour guide for a warm welcome and transferred to your hotel.
After check-in and a short briefing, enjoy a Kisumu City Tour, visiting Kisumu Museum, Dunga Beach Fish Market, and the Impala Sanctuary. Take an evening sunset cruise on Lake Victoria.

After breakfast, drive to Kakamega Forest, one of Africa’s last remaining tropical rainforests. Enjoy guided nature walks and birdwatching — spot hornbills, turacos, and colorful butterflies.
Visit Isiukhu Falls and learn about the Luhya community’s forest traditions.
Dinner and overnight at Rondo Retreat Centre, Kakamega.

Depart Kakamega after breakfast and travel to Webuye, home to scenic viewpoints and agricultural plantations. Visit Webuye Paper Mills (optional) and interact with local communities in Bungoma County.
Lunch en route and continue to Mount Elgon National Park, famous for its caves and waterfalls.
Dinner and overnight at Mount Elgon Lodge.

After breakfast, drive through Busia County, a border town bustling with trade and culture. Continue to Siaya and Bondo, where you’ll visit Dominion Farms and local homesteads to learn about sustainable agriculture and traditional fishing techniques on Lake Victoria.
Enjoy a lakeside lunch and interact with the Luo community, known for their warm hospitality.

After breakfast, take a boat ride to Ndere Island National Park, a quiet wildlife haven on Lake Victoria. Spot monitor lizards, hippos, and an array of bird species.
Return to Kisumu in the afternoon and visit Kit Mikayi, the legendary rock formation steeped in Luo folklore.
Dinner and overnight at Imperial Hotel Kisumu.

After breakfast, drive along the lakeshore through Homabay to Rusinga Island, linked to the mainland by a causeway. Visit Tom Mboya Mausoleum, enjoy panoramic views of Lake Victoria, and learn about local fishing communities.
Have lunch at Rusinga Island Lodge, then return to Kisumu in the late afternoon for your flight or road transfer to Nairobi.
