Some of the attractions that visitors can enjoy are the Aruba Dam; located on the north bank of the seasonal Voi River, visited by thousands of animals and making it a great game viewing destination, Mudanda Rock; which is a whale-backed rock towering above a natural dam and which acts as a draw to hundreds of elephant, The Yatta Plateau; which is the longest lava flow in the world and an ornithological paradise that attracts migrating birds from all over the world and The Lugards Falls; through which the waters of the Galana River plunge into foaming rapids and crocodile-infested pools.

Different species of fish are found here including the coral reef fish, zebra fish, sweetlips, surgeon fish, butterfly fish, damsels and the parrotfish.  Whether snorkeling or scuba diving, you are sure to marvel at the under water beauty and may just bump into other regular visitors like the sea turtle and dolphins feeding on schools of sardine. Visitors are spoilt for choice as there is a wide variety of activities to be explored including, swimming in the ocean water, snorkeling, boat riding, diving, dhow riding, sun bathing, picnicking and barbecuing on the island as well as wind surfing in the reserve.  Riding on a hired glass bottom boat is also a unique experience for those who do not prefer to swim or snorkel, as you can view the diversity of coral reef from the boat.  The park is also favorable for business travelers because there is a variety of conferencing facilities, a library is available, research is also made possible due to the availability of an educational centre with audio-visual equipment and colorful, informative posters displayed for visitor’s free access.
